Telgian’s Len Ramo will present at the 2019 New York State Fire Marshals and Inspectors Seminar

The 2019 New York State Fire Marshals and Inspectors Seminar, October 22-25, will showcase some of the nation’s foremost experts in technological and code changes impacting the field of fire prevention. These include Telgian Engineering & Consulting President Leonard Ramo who will present “Egress Considerations: Back to the Basics” and “Subtle Changes over Time… Impact to Fire Protection” at the event.

Ramo has had a distinguished career spanning more than 20 years within the fire protection industry. His professional accreditations include registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in all 50 U.S. States, District of Columbia and select Territories, as well as P. Eng. in select Canadian Provinces. In addition, Ramo is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) and holds a U.S. Department of Homeland Security CVI certification.

As an internationally recognized industry professional, he also plays an integral role in international codes and standards development by serving on select National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) committees. Ramo is a member of Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), as well as the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), and is a past president of the Central Gulf Coast Chapter of SPFE.

In addition to Ramo’s presentations and other industry experts’ seminars, the 2019 Conference agenda includes a keynote address by former United States Fire Administrator Chief Ernest Mitchell, a networking session, guided code-related discussions, and a Stop the Bleed program.

Attending the courses provided at the Seminar will meet the 24 hour in-service credit requirement.
