Session Description:

This session will focus on reviewing recent k -tags that facilities have received from CMS and/or the DOH , as well as the Joint Commission like safety, environment  of care (safety, security, OSHA, EPA, fire safety, medical equipment  management  and utilities/physical  plant engineering), and emergency management  standards and elements  of performance. Various remedies, resolutions, and ongoing compliance tools will also be discussed to help maintain compliance within hospitals. After this session, attendees will have a greater awareness for what the inspectors and surveyors are focusing and citing hospitals.
