In 2021, Telgian was again a proud sponsor of the CVS Health Charity Classic. The mission of the event is to give back to the community and provide assistance to charitable organizations that focus on helping the community year-round.
The CVS Health Charity Classic is one of Rhode Island’s largest charitable events. Since its inception in 1999, the CVS Charity Classic has donated more than $25 million for Southern New England nonprofit organizations which provide vital funding to a range of programs serving children and families. Almost 90 non-profit organizations across Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts are beneficiaries. Just a few examples include:
- Bradley Hospital. Bradley Hospital’s mission is to deliver health with care by providing a range of family centered, high quality health care services to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with emotional disorders and/or developmental disabilities.
- Children’s Friend. This is an innovative leader in improving the well-being and healthy development of Rhode Island’s most vulnerable young children.
- The Sojourner House. The mission of The Sojourner House is to promote healthy relationships by providing culturally sensitive support, advocacy, and education for victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence; and to effect systematic change.
- Red Cross. The Red Cross provides ongoing relief to people in need by providing financial aid, emotional support, health services, and by housing displaced residents in hotels
