As annual sponsors of the Home Depot Supply Chain Event, Telgian associates are making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors across the country. Telgian is proud to be a benefactor of the Home Depot Foundation and grateful that our sponsorship helps leave a meaningful impact on lives, homes, and communities across America. This year’s event alone helped raise more than $3.2 million for those in need.
And earlier this month, Telgian company representatives did more than simply write a check, when they joined the Home Depot Foundation in Asheville, NC to build new playgrounds, a ball field, seating areas, and a gazebo at Transformation Village. Transformation Village provides up to 100 beds of transitional housing for homeless women, mothers with children, and veterans. Residents’ lives are transformed through counseling, training for living wage employment, and help with reintegration into the community. Most importantly, within a year of arriving at the shelter, 8 out of 10 guests find a good job and resettle into permanent housing.
In addition to building work on Transformation Village, Home Depot Supply Chain Event volunteers also constructed dozens of dog beds to support Paws4People. Paws4People is a service dog organization that helps veterans and children receive dogs specially trained to keep their humans moving in a positive direction.
