Telgian Fire Safety recently announced the promotion of Cory Hamilton to Senior Director of Operations. As Telgian Senior Director Operations Hamilton, formerly Telgian Fire Safety’s Director of Supply Chain, will be responsible for the management of Vendor Supply Chain, Vendor Dispatch, Account Teams and In Bound Queue (IBQ).
“Hamilton’s strong work ethic and initiative, innovative ideas and exceptional management abilities are enabling him to propel Telgian Fire Safety forward in the fire and life safety testing, inspections and maintenance industry,” says Telgian Fire Safety President Al Gargano. “His leadership makes him an excellent addition to the team.”
Hamilton brings over 16 years of management experience to Telgian, including the monitoring of P&L’s, the use of capacity models to optimize facilities, the implementation of standard delivery applications, and essential contract negotiations.
Prior to joining Telgian in 2019 as the Director of Supply Chain, Hamilton served as Regional Operations Engineering Manager, Western United States for BeavEx Incorporated, an on-demand logistics and delivery solutions firm. There, he led the organization’s supply chain department, continuously improving all aspects of the business within his purview. In addition, Hamilton has served in a number of leadership roles at OnTrac, a logistics company, and Adsun, a commercial glass and ceramic printing firm.
A US Army veteran, Hamilton earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Houston and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University. In addition, he is a Lean Six Sigma Black-Belt.
