NICET Preparation Event: Level I and II for Fire Alarm Systems

Telgian Vice President Tom Parrish will present NICET Preparation Event – Level I and II for Fire Alarm Systems on Tuesday - Wednesday, September 22-23 and Tuesday – Wednesday, September 29-30 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM (EDT) each day. This Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA) event will be conducted online and is based on NFPA 72-2016, NEC 2014 and IBC 2015.Telgian Vice President Tom Parrish will present a NICET Preparation Event – Level I and II for Fire Alarm Systems on Tuesday – Wednesday, September 22-23 and Tuesday – Wednesday, September 29-30 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM (EDT) each day. Attendees who attend all four parts will receive a certificate for 14 contact hours of continuing education. The cost to attend is $275 for AFAA AHJ Members, $475 for AFAA Members and $800 for Non-Members.

Parrish’s 25+ years of fire protection experience make him uniquely qualified to present this topic. Parrish is the Vice President of Telgian, a worldwide fire, life safety and security firm, as well as current Fire Marshal at Putnam Township Fire Department in Pinckney, Michigan. In addition, he has held multiple positions with municipal fire, law enforcement and emergency medical services.

His professional credentials include Level IV NICET Certified Fire Alarm Technician, Level III NICET Inspections and Testing, Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Master Electrician and ASIS Board-Certified Physical Security Professional.

Committed to positive change within the industry, Parrish serves on several National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) committees and is the Vice President of the AFAA.

He is also a sought-after speaker, presenting fire and life topics at a wide variety of industry events such as Fire Protection and Life Safety Forum in Ohio and the Automatic Firm Alarm Association (AFAA) of Pennsylvania.
