“Recently, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) noted that nearly half of the facilities inspected by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) were not fully compliant with their approved security plans. In addition, DHS did not have documented procedures for managing these facilities’ compliance,” says Telgian Program Director Ashley Reiter.
“New GAO recommendations that DHS not only document procedures for managing compliance, but also verify ‘validated documentation’ for chemical facilities, makes the implementation of security compliance programs absolutely essential,” Reiter continues. “These free webinars offer crucial information needed for chemical companies to move forward to full industry compliance.”
