Telgian’s Executive Chairman Russell Leavitt is slated to speak at the 2018 Expo Fire Protection and International Forum on Tuesday October 9. This annual fire protection industry event includes not only hundreds of exhibitors in all areas of fire protection, but also two days of conferences with worldwide industry leaders on crucial human security and fire protection topics. Leavitt’s presentation, Energy Storage System Protection Considerations and Fire Resilience, offers a new approach to building design.

About Russell Leavitt
Russ Leavitt is the Executive Chairman of Telgian Corporation. With over 36 years of experience, he holds a Level IV certification from NICET in Fire Sprinkler Layout and Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) designation. He is a 2nd Vice-Chairman of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), is the chair of the NFPA 13 Sprinkler System Discharge Criteria technical committee, and serves on the NFPA 13 Installation and NFPA 25 technical committees.
