At Telgian Fire Safety, our vendor-partners are just that… partners. And, over the company’s 35+ year history, we’ve developed relationships with some of the best in the industry.
In 2024, Telgian Fire Safety created a new program to showcase and recognize top vendor-partner performance in a variety of categories. This July, the first Telgian Vendor-Partner Recognition Award was presented to John Maleeh of Automatic Fire Protection, Inc. (AFP) in Burbank, California. John and his team have worked closely with Telgian for almost 19 years. However, the Telgian Partner Recognition Award is not based simply on longevity. Instead, it recognizes vendor-partners who best exemplify Telgian’s core values.
As part of Automatic Fire Protection’s recognition, John visited the Telgian headquarters for a tour of our training facility. In addition to meeting fire protection subject matter experts from Telgian Fire Safety, he was also introduced to the Telgian Engineering & Consulting team. Chief Engineering Officer Tracey Bellamy discussed changes and developments within the industry, providing valuable insight into the rapidly evolving ever-changing world of fire safety.
John also received an advance view of exciting new technology changes at Telgian Fire Safety, the recently revamped Partner Portal and the implementation of AI streamlining the entire business portfolio.
A celebratory dinner was held at Flemings Steakhouse in Chandler, Arizona. During the evening Telgian Fire Safety representatives presented John with a 2023 Partner of the Year crystal trophy, as well as a wooden charcuterie board personalized with both the Telgian and Automatic Fire Protection logos, handcrafted by Tracey Bellamy.
