Alex Felton, Fire Protection Consultant at Telgian Engineering & Consulting, will present a Fire Smarts webinar on “End-of-Line Restraints in Fire Sprinkler Systems” on December 18, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm ET.
When installing a fire sprinkler system, there are specific requirements in NFPA 13 ‘Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems’ for properly securing the piping. This course will focus on providing an understanding of end-of-line restraints for fire sprinkler systems. The presenter will discuss the components used for these restraints and the installation requirements that determine when and how they should be used.
Alex Felton has 8 years of experience in fire service and is currently a Fire Protection Consultant for Telgian Engineering & Consulting. He holds an IFSAC Firefighter 1 & 2 and Hazmat Awareness & Operations certification as well as a NICET certification in water-based system layout.
Felton is a graduate of Eastern Oregon University with a degree in Fire Service Administration. Alex has experience working in multiple sectors including Healthcare, Government, Education and Storage.
