Telgian’s Eddie Farrow Shares Fire Safety Prevention Week Tips on Good Day Atlanta

Press, Articles & Publications

Fire Prevention Week is observed each year during the week of October 9 in commemoration of the historic Great Chicago Fire, which began on October 8, 1871 and caused devastating damage. In 1925, President Coolidge proclaimed Fire Prevention Week as a national observance, thus making it the longest-running public health observance in the US.

During Fire Prevention Week, children, adults, and teachers learn how to stay safe in case of fire. To share his fire safety expertise, Telgian Engineering & Consulting Assistant Regional Practice Leader Eddie Farrow recently outlined essential fire safety tips for Good Day Atlanta! host Joanne Feldman at Fox 5 Atlanta.

During the interview, Eddie discussed important measures, such as testing smoke detectors, that just may save your life. See the interview and learn more at Good Day Atlanta.
