Drew Gerard, PE, CFPS has more the 15 years of industry experience in fire protection, life safety, consulting and design. He joined the company in 2008 and is the Vice President, Fire Protection Engineering for the West region of the US.

His leadership, support and focus are an instrumental part of the company’s expanding fire protection engineering practice. He is highly skilled in the creation and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives, as well as team leadership and business development.

Gerard earned a BS, Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and is a Professional Engineer licensed in 25 US states and territories. In addition, he is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist and has US Department of Homeland Security, CVI Certification.

His professional affiliations include the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), as well as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), where he is an alternate on the Technical Committee for NFPA 30: Flammable/Combustible Liquids Standard: Committee on Storage and Warehousing of Containers and Portable Tanks.
