Global engineering and risk mitigation consultancy Telgian Engineering & Consulting (TEC) today announced the appointment of April Musser as Southeast Regional Practice Leader of Fire Protection Engineering. TEC, a strategic business unit of Telgian Corporation, provides professional services related to the protection of people, property, information and organizational mission against preventable losses.
About April Musser
Musser has more than 15 years of experience in fire protection engineering and consulting, including code consulting and design. She has designed fire and life safety systems for large commercial and industrial facilities and has managed projects across a wide range of market segments across the Southeast and internationally. Musser has presented at several well-known conferences including the NFPA Annual Meeting and Conference, SFPE Southeast Annual Fire Safety Conference and Georgia Fire Safety Symposium.
She has also written articles on the topic of historic building fires and their impact on fire and building codes. She oversees fire protection engineering projects as the regional practice leader for TEC.

Previously, Musser was senior fire protection engineer and project manager for a fire and life safety company in Duluth, Georgia. She is a certified professional engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in fire protection engineering from University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration in organizational management from Georgia State University.
