An experienced presenter and senior instructor for NFPA, Parrish has 25+ years of fire protection and emergency response experience, including positions with municipal fire, law enforcement and emergency medical services. Additionally, his expertise includes private industry fire safety system design and installation programs.

Parrish serves on the NFPA Technical Committee for NFPA 72 Signaling Systems for the Protection of Life and Property and Emergency Communications Systems and is a Board Member of AFAA..

His professional credentials include Level IV NICET Certified Fire Alarm Technician, Level III NICET Inspections and Testing and Certified Fire Protection Specialist, as well as Master Electrician. Parrish is also an ASIS board-certified Physical Security Professional.
