Mr. Reiter brings more than 30 years of expertise to the position of VP of Security Operations for Telgian Risk Solutions. He leads Telgian’s delivery of security consulting services in areas that include regulatory compliance, risk methodologies, policy development and mitigation/countermeasure development.
Mr. Reiter’s experience spans all aspects of security/risk/crisis management operations, including regulatory compliance, risk vulnerability analysis and countermeasures, investigations, training, and workplace violence programs. Previously, he served as the senior security executive for the Global Operations Security organization with the E.I. duPont de Nemours and Company (DuPont).
Professional affiliations include the American Society for Industrial Security (ACC), American Board for Certification in Homeland Security (ABCHS). He is a member of the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) Safety and Security Committee and served on the American Chemistry Council (ACC) Security Committee. He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Protection Specialist (CPS), Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CAS), Certified in Homeland Security (CHS—Level IV), Certified Security Supervisor (CSS), Certified Protection Officer—Instructor (CPO-I), and Certified Protection Officer (CPO).
Mr. Reiter is a graduate of Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the College of Police Science in Monterey, California and the Military Police Academy in Ft. Gordon, Georgia.
