The exhibit hall opens on Sunday afternoon with a Welcome Party where the 2000+ attendees will gather to share ideas and resources for advancing their areas of expertise in building management, including how to reduce operating expenses and save energy. Over the course of the three-day show, there will be over 40 education sessions focused addressing today's challenges and identifying marketplace opportunities. The Expo kicks off on Sunday with a networking reception from 6:00 – 7:30 pm in the Expo Hall. The exhibition continues on Monday from 11am to 4pm and Tuesday from 10am to 2pm. The Association Technical Meeting will begin on Tuesday at 2pm, continuing on Wednesday at 8am. Certified amending motions may be presented on NFPA 51A, 79 and 2001 during these meetings. The NFPA Professional Development Series, hosted by MARSH Netherlands in association with NFPA, will cover NFPA 13, 20 & 25.
The NFPA is a globally acknowledged and accepted authority in the field of fire prevention and their standards are universally adopted and applied around the world. In order to support these fundamentals and the growing network of fire engineering practitioners, the NFPA has committed to establishing the same training in Europe that was previously only available in the US.

The International Firestop Council created this presentation to educate the enforcement industry on the importance of having a balanced approach to fire protection, to introduce the passive fire protection industry, and why it is important to install passive fire protection systems correctly and tips on the proper inspection of firestop systems.
