Telgian was formed in 2007 by combining two jointly held firms, TVA Fire and Life Safety (TVA) and Fire Materials Group.  Since TVA's founding in 1985, the companies had enjoyed substantial and sustained growth by providing critical Fire Protection and Life Safety services to significant growth companies in the United States and abroad. It became apparent that the two companies could benefit greatly by centralizing governance, corporate services, information technology and leadership.  With the integration of the two companies, Telgian was born.   With nearly 25 years in the industry, we are here for the long run.

Telgian continues to focus on the development of key leaders in our organization. Division leaders have been afforded a second tier of experienced and talented executives to manage very aggressive operational and organizational development initiatives.  In the first quarter of 2008, Telgian’s Leadership began the process of integrating “Lean” into our culture and operation. We have already experienced greater levels of efficiency company-wide, and fully expect this operational platform to improve Telgian’s already excellent customer service.
